Paulo Dybala and Evan Ndicka both completed Roma’s full training session today, so they should be ready to start against Atalanta on Saturday.
Roma had been concerned over both players ahead of the Serie A Week 3 fixture, which kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday at 19.45 UK time, 20.45 CEST. In his earlier press conference, Gian Piero Gasperini said Dybala would try in training to gauge his muscles’ response to an increased workload.
The Argentina international came through the full session without any issues and should be fit to start.
Ndicka withdrew in the warm-up before the 4-0 victory away to Lecce last weekend with a muscular issue. He has made a full recovery and is likely to regain his place, which would send Daniele Ghilardi back to the bench.
The only expected absentees for Roma should be Devyne Rensch and Lorenzo Pellegrini, although the Dutch wing-back could yet be named among the substitutes.
