Dybala’s Roma future remains uncertain as he enters the final months of his contract, having previously been linked with Benfica. The situation is attracting interest from several clubs.
According to Glorioso 1904, he is viewed as closer to leaving than staying, and Roma are ready to propose an extension below his current eight million euros a year.
Claudio Ranieri has said the club were studying a renewal and that, without agreement on wages, a departure would be the likeliest outcome. Boca Juniors have emerged as the latest suitor amid this picture.
Now in his fourth season with the giallorossi, Dybala previously worked under José Mourinho, now Benfica head coach. He is preparing to become a father, something that could weigh on his choices.
The Argentine is currently sidelined with a knee problem. In 2025/26 he has played 22 games for Roma, scoring three goals and providing four assists. His outings include 17 in Serie A, four in the Europa League and one in the Coppa Italia, totalling 1,296 minutes, and he is valued at five million euros.
