Dybala to undergo tests on latest injury ahead of derby

In addition to the defeat against Torino, there’s a possibility that Paulo Dybala might be forced to withdraw from the upcoming Rome derby.

The Argentine complained of thigh pain after taking a free kick in the first half of the loss to Torino, opting not to return to the pitch after the break.

Initial tests confirmed a muscle strain in his left thigh.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, more information will be available only today.

Further tests will clarify his condition and whether he’ll be able to recover.

The goal will be to at least secure a call-up for Sunday’s derby. The match is scheduled for 12:30.
