Paulo Dybala is preparing to return to the field as a starter against Parma in the match on Sunday at 12:30, after spending 90 minutes on the bench in the Coppa Italia.

But the most important news concerns the Argentine champion’s contract: the automatic renewal will come into effect soon.

In just seven games, the clause that provides for the extension of the contract until 2026 with a salary of 8 million net per year plus bonuses will become effective, further consolidating the bond with Roma.

In the meantime, sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has clarified Dybala’s market situation: “If offers arrive, we will listen to them. For now there have been no contacts with other clubs and we know Paulo’s love for Roma.”

Despite Galatasaray’s interest and his agent Carlos Novel’s trip to Istanbul, Roma is open to a possible transfer only with adequate financial compensation.

The €12 million release clause, writes Il Corriere della Sera, will be active again in the first 15 days of January, offering the Turkish club a unique opportunity to buy him without negotiations.

Outside that period, a possible transfer could materialize around €5-6 million, provided that the player agrees to change teams.
