Eintracht Frankfurt eased to a 5-1 win at FSV Frankfurt. The Bundesliga club’s sustained pressure, particularly before the break, proved too much.

Adi Hütter’s charges were victorious again in their fifth pre-season friendly and dominated from the off against their fourth-tier city rivals, although they did have a let-off in the 15th minute, when Filip Pandza squandered a one-on-one opportunity.First Eintracht goal for Otavio With 21 minutes gone, the Eagles celebrated the first goal. From Can Uzun’s free-kick, new signing Otavio headed in the deserved opener and his first goal for Eintracht. And the Eagles immediately added to their lead, with the impressive Uzun dribbling into the penalty box before setting up Younes Ebnoutalib to make it 2-0 just two minutes later.

After the final whistle, Ansgar Knauff said: “It was a good friendly in front of a great crowd. We’re glad that so many fans come. We did a lot of things well – there are also a few things we need to improve. Overall it was a good test. We want to play on the front foot and win the ball back quickly. We’re making progress every week.”
