Arsenal will face Manchester City in the final of the Carabao Cup at Wembley on Sunday and Gunners manager Mikel Arteta will be desperate to come out on top.

The Emirates Stadium club last won a major silverware in 2020 and have not won the Carabao Cup since 1993.

Arsenal are looking to win all the four competitions they are contesting in this term and a victory on Sunday will be huge as they eye further success in the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

The North London club could be without Martin Odegaard and Jurrien Timber for the game after they missed recent games.

Eberechi Eze could also be unavailable going by the latest Arsenal’s training picture gallery on their website.

The English attacker told reporters he was fine after an injury scare against Bayer Leverkusen and Arteta claimed there were no fresh injury concerns in his press conference today.

Not including him in the pictures could be mind games from the Arsenal boss, but no one knows exactly why he was not included, which could leave Man City manager Pep Guardiola guessing.

Being without Eze for the game will be a huge blow and the Gunners supporters will be hoping he is available given his current form.

The summer signing has four goals in his last seven appearances across all competitions and will be looking forward to helping Arsenal win the final on Sunday.

Eze won the FA Cup with Crystal Palace last term and could end this season with at least one or two trophies if all goes well.

Arsenal are expected to name a strong side for the clash and pipping Man City to the trophy will be a huge boost for them heading into the final weeks of the campaign.
