Max Eberl has shut the door on further Bayern signings this summer and insisted Alphonso Davies and Michael Olise are staying. The sporting director was speaking as Nathaniel Brown was presented.

According to BuLi News, he said Bayern completed their incoming business early, dismissing transfer talk as having zero truth. The club have spent a little over €100 million on Ismael Saibari and Brown, and Bara Sapoko Ndiaye will join permanently.

Eberl described Brown, a €50 million left-back from Amberg who developed at Frankfurt, as intelligent, versatile and a player for the future. He said Bayern moved quickly after the World Cup showed Brown’s level.

He ruled out a summer exit for Davies. Eberl noted Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić have covered at left-back, and said Bayern are well stocked on the left with Luis Díaz, Arijon Ibrahimović, Brown and Davies.

He added that an initial plan to recruit a left winger was dropped, with Saibari and Brown increasing the squad’s flexibility.

Eberl also rejected suggestions of Real Madrid interest in Olise, saying they stayed in touch during the World Cup. The winger was offered number 11, as with his national team, but chose to keep 17 and will return after his holiday.

On outgoings, he said Bayern are open to offers for Sacha Boey, João Palhinha and Bryan Zaragoza, who are not in the club’s plans. Remaining would be difficult because they would not play a role.
