Chelsea fans will get to see Eden Hazard back in blue this afternoon as he lines up in the legends clash against Liverpool.
The former Belgium international spent seven years at Stamford Bridge following his move from Lille in 2012, scoring 110 goals and providing 88 assists in 352 appearances across all competitions.
In 2019, at the age of 28, he joined Real Madrid for a fee in the region of €100 million. However, persistent injury troubles and battles with fitness derailed his time in Spain, limiting him to just 76 appearances before leaving the club as a free agent and announcing his retirement in 2023 at 32.
Now, Chelsea supporters will once again see Hazard grace the Stamford Bridge pitch, as he features for the Blues legends against Liverpool.
In a clip shared on social media, the former superstar was seen reuniting with several of his old teammates ahead of the game.
The side will be managed by Roberto Di Matteo, with Petr Čech, John Terry, William Gallas, Diego Costa and Joe Cole among the former players set to take part.
