Daniel Farke delivered team news before Leeds United’s trip to Tottenham on Monday, confirming a calf injury for Noah Okafor and a knock for Pascal.
Leeds are virtually safe after a 3-1 win against Burnley, with Anton Stach, Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring to reach 43 points. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, safety could be sealed this week if West Ham, seven points back in 18th, lose to Arsenal.
Tottenham are one place and one point above West Ham, have won back-to-back games but remain in relegation trouble and need another result on Monday. Last week Farke insisted no one would be on the beach as they aim to finish as high as possible.
Farke explained Okafor had a right-calf problem after the FA Cup semi-final, then suffered a left-calf issue in the Burnley game, so Leeds are hopeful he can return for the final day. Pascal will not train with the group today after a knock, will work individually and is also hoped to be available.
Gabriel Gudmundsson sustained a hamstring injury late in the Chelsea semi-final and missed the Burnley win. Ilia Gruev’s season is over due to a meniscus injury suffered before the recent draw at Bournemouth.
