FULL TIME! LIVERPOOL 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON

It's the late show once again as the Reds march into the fourth round.

Saints put up a great fight but Isak's first goal for the club and Ekitike's fifth see the Premier League champions through.

Chiesa has had a great night, with two assists and endless running.

The fans love him but will Slot ever give him a league start? With Ekitike now suspended for the weekend, he's got a slightly better chance.

Saints have six minutes of added time to find another equaliser against the now-10 men hosts.

GOAL AND RED CARD AT ANFIELD!

Remarkable stuff.

Hugo Ekitike gives Liverpool yet another late lead with a fine finish after Chiesa again plays the role of provider.

In his joy, the French striker forgets he's on a yellow and gets a second for taking his jersey off.

That's him out of the trip to Palace at the weekend but it could be Southampton out of the EFL Cup soon too.

FULL TIME! WOLVES 2-0 EVERTON

Wolves make it two wins from two in the EFL Cup, both of which have came against Premier League sides.

Can this be a much-needed launchpad for Vitor Pereira's side?

FULL TIME! LINCOLN 1-2 CHELSEA

George and Buonanotte's quickfire goals just after the break save Chelsea from a potential giant killing.

Lincoln can hold their heads up high after a great effort.

BIG MISS!

Liverpool really should be ahead again right away, but like Endo, Ekitike misjudges a header you'd have put your money on him scoring.

GOOOOAL! SOUTHAMPTON ARE LEVEL!

Game right on at Anfield.

Endo makes a mess of a corner heading the ball back into the six-yard area, where Shea Charles is on hand to smash home.

His first goal for the Saints and what a time to get it!

Chelsea are looking to keep the ball as they play down the clock.

We're heading towards added time.

GOOOOAL! WOLVES ARE THROUGH!

They can't buy a result in the Premier League, but they've sealed another win in the EFL Cup in some style.

Tolu Arokodare is put through on goal after Wolves break and he delightfully chips the ball over Pickford.

What a finish, and what a way to get your first goal for the club.

Facundo Buonanotte comes close to his second and Chelsea's third but Jeacock gets a strong hand to his strike and keeps Lincoln in the tie.

Time is running out though.

Ekitike had just come on for Isak, who continues to work his way back to full fitness.

A great night for the Swede, and what about that for strength in depth?

DISALLOWED GOAL!

Chiesa has the ball in the net after starting and finishing a lovely team move involving Wataru Endo and Hugo Ekitike, but he's ruled just offside.

15 minutes left for Lincoln to do something special, and for Everton to grab an equaliser.

Will we see more cup drama tonight?

Elsewhere, Diego Gómez has hit a hat-trick for Brighton at Barnsley, with his second and third right from the top drawer.

Well worth checking out those highlights later!

Liverpool and Southampton have kicked off the second half - can Isak get another?

Garnacho's night is done as Estêvão comes on for him just before the hour.

His Chelsea career has not got going yet, albeit it was his first start and he didn't have a pre-season.

Jack Grealish is on as Everton look to find a way back into the game at Molineux.

GOALS! CHELSEA TURN IT AROUND!

Two in three minutes, and the Blues are back in business!

Tyrique George gets the equaliser with a stunning effort that gives Zach Jeacock no chance before Facundo Buonanotte pokes home from close range moments later.

Crisis? What crisis?

BACK UNDERWAY!

Lincoln-Chelsea and Wolves-Everton are back underway.

Big 45 ahead.

GOOOOAL! ISAK OFF THE MARK!

The moment every Liverpool fan had waited for has come.

It's a nightmare moment for keeper McCarthy, whose pass from the back is intercepted by Federico Chiesa.

The Italian squares it to Isak who finishes in typical cool fashion from close range.

Ominous for the rest of English football.

Here is the Lincoln goal - what a moment!

HALF TIME!

Chelsea and Everton are behind at the break.

The world champions have yet to have a shot on target.

GOOOOOAL! LINCOLN TAKE THE LEAD!

Oh, what do we have here!!!

Rob Street sends the home crowd wild with a lovely finish past Jörgensen.

It's an absolute horror/hospital pass from Enzo Fernández at the back that sets it up. Ivan Varfolomieiev nipped in with a header, and Street did the rest.

Jamie Gittens has been Chelsea's main threat here but Lincoln look the more likely to score.

They are causing problems with their crosses.

GOAL! WOLVES TAKE THE LEAD!

After almost going behind, Wolves go in front just a matter of moments later.

Marshall Munetsi is the scorer, smashing home after Jordan Pickford's save from Jhon Arias only goes as far as him.

GREAT SAVE!

Sam Johnstone keeps Wolves on level terms with a fine save from Michael Keane's firm header.

Giorgi Mamardashvili is making his first start in goal for Liverpool, and he turns away an Adam Armstrong strike as the Championship side look to make an early impact.

Saints have already had three corners at Anfield.

Alejandro Garnacho goes down looking for a penalty but it's a nothing challenge from Lewis Montsma.

The Argentine winger will be looking to impress on his full Chelsea debut particularly after failing to get off the bench at his former home at the weekend.

Isak goes close!

Almost the dream start for Liverpool and their new main man, who fires a shot at Alex McCarthy that the Saints keeper does well to turn away.

That's gonna hurt in the morning.

Very little to report so far from Molineux.

Wolves' only good result this season came in the last round with the comeback win over West Ham. How they could do with another tonight.

KICK OFF!

And we're underway at Anfield.

Will Alexander Isak get his first goal in red tonight?

Chelsea might be the most expensively assembled squad in football history but they have been second best so far here.

They can't cope with Lincoln's physicality - are we set for another giant-killing after Grimsby's famous win over United?

First bit of action sees Filip Jörgensen come to punch a ball and absolutely clatter into Wesley Fofana in the process.

The Chelsea defender is checked on by the medics before playing on.

Another quiet start for a Blues keeper!

KICK OFF!

And we're off.

The champions kick off in 15 minutes, but we're moments away from the action getting underway at Molineux and the LNER stadium.

There's games on elsewhere but our focus will be on Liverpool's clash with Southampton at Anfield, as well as Chelsea's visit to Lincoln and the all-Premier League tie between bottom side Wolves and Everton.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of tonight's three most-high profile EFL Cup third round clashes.
