This Friday, Egypt defeated South Africa 1-0 in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Salah scored the only goal of the match. With this result, the Egyptians became the first team to secure a spot in the tournament’s round of 16.

How was the match?

Egypt started the match more focused, creating good plays through the middle, posing more danger and having more shots on goal. The Egyptians’ goal came at the 45th minute, with Mohamed Salah scoring from the penalty spot after being fouled inside the box. After the goal, there was still time for Mohamed Hany of Egypt to receive a second yellow card and be sent off.
