Kick-off for the Egyptian league

The Egyptian Premier League returns to action this Friday, August 8, 2025. The race to succeed reigning champions Al Ahly will begin with a first matchday spread over three sessions.

The opening match will see newly promoted Wadi Degla take on Africa's reigning champions Pyramids. Al Ahly will be on the road against Modern Sport on Saturday, while Zamalek face off against Ceramica Cleopatra later tonight.
