Eight players, including Milan’s Ballon d’Or winner Gianni Rivera, were younger than Francesco Camarda when starting their first Serie A game.

Gianni Rivera, one of the best players in Italy’s history and a 1969 Ballon d’Or winner, was 15 years and 290 days old when he started in Serie A for the first time for Alessandria in 1959.

Genoa’s Pietro Pellegrini was 16 years and 78 days old when he started against Roma in Francesco Totti’s last competitive game. The promising Italian striker, now at Empoli, even scored after just three minutes.
