Eintracht Frankfurt sporting board member Markus Krösche has responded to recent speculation about his future with the Bundesliga club.
"In the end, there is always a lot of speculation. I stick to the facts," Krösche, who is under contract until 2028, told Bild Sport.
"I have a contract until 2028. We’ve been very successful. We have a very exciting, highly developable team. It’s a vibrant club where I feel comfortable, and there’s nothing more to say about it."
Specifically, Krösche has been linked with Borussia Dortmund as a potential replacement for sporting managing director Lars Ricken, who has come under criticism.
While he admits to being in regular contact with Borussia Dortmund president Hans-Joachim Watzke, Krösche insists that these conversations are unrelated to any potential role at the Black and Yellows.
"Of course, I have had regular contact with ‘Aki’ Watzke, in the past as well, but that had nothing to do with Borussia Dortmund," he said.
