Eintracht Frankfurt have dismissed head coach Dino Toppmöller on Sunday after a poor run, a day after the 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
The club said in a statement the decision followed a review of recent performances, including the first three matches of 2026. Frankfurt have managed one win in their past nine matches.

Toppmöller’s contract was extended last year until mid-2028. The 45-year-old took charge in 2023.
He said he would have liked to continue working with the team and take on the challenges ahead, but accepted the decision. He also wished the club calmer and successful times.
Frankfurt are seventh in the Bundesliga.
