Said El Mala will be in the squad when 1. FC Köln face Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
After struggling with ankle problems, the 19-year-old returned to team training on Thursday and was given the green light to play at the weekend by Köln coach René Wagner at a press conference on Friday.

“He is doing well,” Wagner confirmed.
“He trained fully today, will train fully tomorrow, and is an option to start on Sunday.”
El Mala’s return from injury is a major boost for Köln, who go into the match in 15th place, just two points above the relegation zone.
