El Salvador vs. United States

El Salvador, winner of Group A, meets the United States, the second team from Group B, for a spot in the final and the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

La Selecta seeks to continue an unbeaten 3-0-0 start to its campaign, featuring the highest-scoring offense in the tournament with 20 goals. El Salvador won 7-6 against Mexico on Thursday, taking the lead with seven unanswered goals from Andersson Castro, Francisco Velásquez, Rubén Batres, and braces from Emerson Cerna and Melvin González.

The United States earned a critical 5-1 win against then first-place Panama on Thursday to surge in the Group B standings and seal a place in the semis. Ricardo Carvalho, and braces from Andrés Navas, and Gabe Silveira led the U.S. to victory. The Stars and Stripes also feature the best defensive team in the tournament with six goals conceded, one less than El Salvador.

The two nations also met in the semifinals of the previous edition. The United States defeated El Salvador, 5-2, to move on to the 2023 final. Nico Perea scored a hat-trick on that occasion, followed by goals from Gabe Silveira and Alessandro Canale, all current members of the squad. Heber Ramos and Francisco Velásquez struck for El Salvador and will seek to be on the winning end this time around.

The encounter also features a rematch of the 2021 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship final, which El Salvador won 6-4. La Selecta seeks to return to its first final since that edition, while the U.S. is vying for its fourth straight final
