Celtic FC Women marked their return to action in style, by booking their place in the next round of the Scottish Cup with an emphatic victory over Dunfermline.

With seven different scorers, the Ghirls ran out 14-0 winners, putting in a superb attacking display on Sunday afternoon.

The Celtic boss spoke to Celtic TV after the match to reflect on her side’s performance.

“It was a very professional performance. In terms of how we played, creating chances, scoring goals. There was some lovely goals too.

“It was obviously a special game too, because we had a debut for Emma Knox and then Craigy’s comeback.

“I said it before the game, no matter who we play against we need to act like a Celtic team. A professional team, with the quality that we have.

“We need to show that as well. So, that is exactly what the players did and I’m really happy and proud with how they did that.”
