According to RMC Sport, Eliesse Ben Seghir, 20, will not return to Monaco this month.
Ben Seghir joined Bayer Leverkusen for €32m at the start of the season. His adaptation to Germany has been difficult.

He has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga side, and is yet to record a goal contribution.
A homecoming had been considered earlier in the window. Having already played for Les Monégasques at the start of the season, he cannot feature for a third club. That made Monaco the only feasible option if he were to leave Leverkusen in January.
Monaco remain in the market for a forward before the January transfer window closes.
