The Togolese Football Federation has announced the appointment of Patrice Neveu as the new head coach of the Togo national team, the Eperviers.

“This decision is the result of a consultation of several candidates with solid experience in top-level football. Throughout this process, criteria such as expertise, experience, and strategic vision were at the heart of the evaluation. The choice of Mr. Patrice Neveu is explained by his technical and tactical skills, his long and rich experience at the highest level, and his deep knowledge of the African football landscape,” read the statement released by the governing body of Togolese football.

The FTF emphasized that this procedure reflects “the shared desire of sporting authorities and public officials to provide the Eperviers with a top-tier technical staff, capable of meeting the challenges facing the national team on both the African and international stage.”

The French coach is expected in Lomé in the coming days to sign his contract. He brings a wealth of experience, having managed numerous clubs across Africa, including FUS Rabat, Ismaily, Smouha, and Horoya AC, as well as several national teams such as Niger, Guinea, DR Congo, Mauritania, and Gabon.
