Harvey Elliott will make his Valencia debut today against Barcelona after joining on loan from Liverpool.

According to AS, the 23-year-old was Valencia’s final addition before a contentious window shut and he takes the No 10 shirt at Mestalla.

He burst onto the scene in 2019, debuting for Fulham at 16 years and 30 days, and for a time he held the Premier League’s youngest debutant record.

Real Madrid and Barcelona followed his progress, but he chose Liverpool, later extending his deal to 2028 before leaving on loan. He has amassed almost 150 competitive appearances for Liverpool.

In 2025 he won his second European Championship with England and was named player of the tournament. After limited opportunities at Aston Villa last season, he arrives in Valencia aiming to create his own story.
