The 23-year-old has broken into the England set-up and looks to have nailed down a place in Thomas Tuchel’s team for next summer’s World Cup, following an effotless adaptation to international football.

In the Premier League, he leads the division for progressive passes this season and ranks among the league’s top performers for chances created (5ht), fouls drawn (2nd), crosses (5th) and tackles (7th).

Even in defeat, Anderson has remained impressive. This weekend, Forest lost 2-0 to Brighton in a disappointing result but their midfield mainstay still showed his class.

He became the first Premier League player across the last 10 seasons to recored 100+ touches, 10+ ball recoveries, 10+ duels won, 5+ key passes and 5+ successful dribbles in a single game.

Manchester City and Manchester United are just two of the clubs reportedly circling. Former side Newcastle are also huge admirers. Expect transfer interest in the ever-improving midfielder to ramp up as January approaches.
