Email ticket problems prompt Athletic to open two ticket offices in León | OneFootball

Athletic will open extra ticket facilities in León tonight after email delivery problems left many supporters without their seats.

The club said in a statement that it had been managing issues with some of the tickets sent by Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, acknowledging the problem around three hours before kick-off.

Leonesa sent 650 away tickets for the game at the Reino de León, though only 545 were sold. Some buyers received theirs on Monday night, others were still waiting past midday today.

Many paid 50 euros but did not receive the email. The incident affected around 300 people, prompting frustrated fans to contact the club for a swift solution.

As an extraordinary measure, two ticket offices will operate at the stadium from 19:00 to assist fans who have not received their tickets.
