Emily Lima set out Corinthians' travel and training plan for a crowded week following the 4-1 win over Santos on Sunday. The result, at Estádio do Canindé in the 15th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino, kept the Brabas top on 37 points and confirmed home advantage in the second leg of the quarter-finals.
As reported by Meu Timao, Lima said the focus switches to the Campeonato Paulista and an away game against Mirassol, where distance and heat demand care. She added that travelling a day early allows rest and proper nutrition, aiming to keep their Paulistão run going before preparing to head to Salvador for the next national fixture.
She described the week as demanding, noting that tactical work for Santos, Mirassol and Bahia had to be condensed into three days. With no time on the training pitch next week, the team will travel to Mirassol, play on Wednesday and return. A short rest is planned midweek, then they travel on Friday, play on Saturday and arrive back on Sunday.
The Mirassol match is scheduled for Wednesday at 17:00 in the Estádio Manoel Ferreira, in Bálsamo, for the sixth round of the Paulistão.
Lima said the objective is to turn that compressed preparation into clean performances and to chase three points in each outing.
