Emmanuel Agbadou’s future is under fresh scrutiny ahead of January, with Beşiktaş interest, AFCON duties and growing noise around an exit.
According to Molineux.news, Beşiktaş are seriously interested and in talks with Wolverhampton, and the defender is open to moving to Türkiye.
A further update indicated he wants to leave in January, that his agent is speaking to two European clubs, and that a Beşiktaş deal could be difficult at present.
Wolves are bottom of the Premier League with two points from 15 games. It has been a bleak campaign, and summer recruitment is viewed as having left the squad short, with plans likely shifting towards Championship contingencies.
Agbadou now heads to AFCON with Ivory Coast, so Rob Edwards must adjust his backline for the remaining games in 2025. After an abysmal start, his recent upturn prompted suggestions that the Arsenal match might prove his last appearance.
Ivory Coast are fancied to progress from their group and could reach the latter stages, although Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and Senegal are regarded as stronger on paper.
Agbadou joined for £16 million and Wolves would want to recover as much of that fee as possible if a January move materialises.
