Emmanuel Mbemba set to sign four-year deal with Paris FC | OneFootball

L'Équipe reports that Emmanuel Mbemba, the 18-year-old PSG defender, is set to join Paris FC on a four-year deal.

Considered one of the leading prospects from PSG’s academy, he lifted the Gambardella on 22 May after a 3-2 win over Montpellier. He will not sign his first professional contract with PSG.

He is a centre-back who can also play left-back, and had at one stage been expected to join Monaco.

A France youth international since under-16 level and a finalist at last year’s under-17 Euros, Mbemba also attracted interest from Arsenal and Leverkusen.

He is due to undergo his medical with PFC on Wednesday, as is Italian defender Diego Coppola, who was on loan in the second half of last season, before completing the move.

Paris FC returned to training a few days ago and will play their first pre-season friendly on Saturday against Stade de Reims.
