The January transfer window is still a ways off, but at Trigoria, a name continues to gain traction in the attacking strategy.
Endrick has become one of the players being closely monitored by Roma, who are ready to evaluate a move that would allow Gian Piero Gasperini to add talent, quality, and perspective to their attacking lineup.
The starting point is simple: the interest is mutual. Roma has long admired the Brazilian’s qualities, and the player has seriously considered the possibility of moving to the capital.
This convergence makes the option particularly attractive ahead of the winter transfer window. Working on the deal is sporting director Tony D’Amico, who sees the young striker as a potential top-tier addition.
Discussions and evaluations apparently haven’t begun in recent weeks: the Giallorossi club had already eyed the Brazilian last summer and have reportedly received positive signals from both the player and his father.
What’s driving Endrick toward a new experience is, above all, the need for consistency. The Brazilian has only played four minutes so far this season, a figure that reflects a situation far removed from the expectations of the 20-year-old from Taguatinga. For a player still in the midst of his development, the ability to play regularly is crucial.
And it’s precisely in this area that Roma could have significant arguments to make. Gasperini could provide him with an environment in which to develop his skills and allow him to gradually return to prominence. The connection with the Giallorossi, at least indirectly, already exists.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Endrick has in fact indicated Roma, led by compatriot Wesley, as a truly viable destination. This represents a significant opening for a club that continues to monitor the situation and may decide to accelerate as January approaches.
