Endrick was sent off at La Beaujoire on Saturday night, the Brazilian’s first red card since his arrival in France. The incident came during OL’s trip to Nantes in Ligue 1’s matchday 21.
It was a difficult night for the OL forward. He was booked very early for pulling the shirt of Mathis Abline as the forward broke on the counter.
In the 57th minute, during a duel on the touchline, he caught Dehmaine Tabibou’s left ankle. Referee Mathieu Vernice initially showed a yellow card, which being his second, resulted in a dismissal.
After viewing the footage, the official changed the sanction to a straight red in the 61st minute for the player on loan from Real Madrid.
Tabibou could not continue after the contact and was replaced by Deiver Machado.
