According to As, Real Madrid are pleased with Endrick’s early displays at Lyon and the forward is expected to remain on loan.

His loan was made official on 1 January 2026. After an eye-catching Coupe de France debut at Lille on Sunday, Fabrizio Romano noted a recall clause valid until 20 January.

The clause, which Lyon have not detailed publicly, would allow a recall only in the event of a serious injury or the sale of a first-team player, not for a technical decision.

In Madrid, Xabi Alonso has been sidelined and reserve coach Alvaro Arbeloa has taken charge, a change that is not expected to alter Endrick’s situation, the report said.

Real’s plan remains for him to play 25 matches for Lyon, then feature at the World Cup with Brazil, before returning next season as an important player in Madrid.
