Enes Unal returns to Getafe after Bournemouth stint | OneFootball

Enes Unal has rejoined La Liga side Getafe from Bournemouth on a free transfer, with €1.5m in potential add-ons and a 20 per cent sell-on clause retained.

The forward arrived from Getafe in January 2024, initially on loan. He made 58 appearances in all competitions, although only six were starts.

Unal scored six goals and provided five assists. An ACL injury in January 2025 kept him out until October, and he was not in the plans of new boss Marco Rose, departing with the club’s best wishes.

Bournemouth will make a loss on the £14m they paid for Unal, though his exit brings a saving on wages.

His departure is likely to mean Daniel Jebbison stays at Bournemouth this summer after impressing Rose in pre-season.

Unal returns to familiar surroundings at Getafe, where he previously made 109 appearances and scored 36 goals in all competitions.
