Enes Unal is set to rejoin Getafe from Bournemouth on a free transfer, with €1.5 million in potential bonuses, Bournemouth Echo understands.

The striker heads back to La Liga after around 1,000 minutes across the past three seasons, 214 of those last term. Bournemouth retain a 20 per cent sell-on clause. He leaves with the club’s best wishes.

Unal is not in new manager Marco Rose’s plans, and the move means Daniel Jebbison is likely to stay in Dorset this summer despite interest from Championship sides and abroad.

The club will make a loss on the initial fee of around £14 million paid in the summer of 2024, following a loan during the 23/24 winter window.

Unal struggled to establish himself, making 58 appearances with only six starts, scoring five and providing four assists. His spell included a second ACL injury of his career that sidelined him from January to October 2025.

He returns to Getafe where he scored 36 goals in 109 appearances between the summer of 2020 and his move to Bournemouth at the start of 2024.
