England wrapped up their World Cup preparation with a dominant win over Costa Rica in Orlando.
The game was delayed by an hour due to thunder storms and when the game did eventually get underway, Thomas Tuchel's side were dominant throughout.
Indeed, it took just nine minutes for the Three Lions to take the lead when Anthony Gordon ran down the left side before pulling the ball back for Declan Rice to finish.
After setting up the first, Gordon thought he won a penalty just before the break when Shawn Johnson was judged to have brought the soon-to-be Barcelona man down. However, VAR intervened with the referee then reversing the decision after seeing Gordon hit the deck far too easily.
With just over an hour gone and England remaining in charge, Tuchel elected to make a half dozen changes.
Then just a few minutes later it was 2-0 with England's penalty this time sticking after Eberechi Eze's shot hit the arm of Darryl Araya. With Harry Kane having just been taken off, it was Gordon who converted the resulting penalty.
There was still time for a third goal that reflected England's control of the game. Morgan Rogers' shot from distance was far from the most dangerous effort but the rebound bounced kindly for Ollie Watkins to convert from close range and wrap up the win.
England will now wait for their first game of the 2026 World Cup when they take on Croatia in Texas.
