Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that he is targeting a second World Cup for the country, but it won’t be easy for numerous reasons, although the Three Lions will fancy their chances, and, in Harry Kane, they have arguably the best striker on the planet.

A group that includes Croatia, Panama and Ghana shouldn’t be too challenging for England, especially as potentially three teams will qualify, so reaching the knockout stages should be a breeze.

England fans will be watching the World Cup from across the globe

That’s when the serious stuff will start, and England are likely to be backed in strong numbers as they look to end 60 years of hurt in the men’s game.

However, as we know, ticket prices have become a massive issue for genuine fans at this tournament, with FIFA setting some outrageous prices.

The use of dynamic pricing did not go down well with supporters, and it means a lot of the England hardcore, and similar fans of other countries, simply can’t afford to watch their country in America, Canada or Mexico.

When you combine the ridiculous ticket prices with inflated hotel and travel costs, which are a particular problem in the USA, it has left many wondering just how the World Cup will look in terms of the atmosphere at games, and whether they will even sell out.

England fans are sent a warning if they watch the World Cup in Spain

Due to the excessive costs that come with heading to the USA, many England fans will be looking for alternatives, and with the games played in the summer, some will choose to go abroad, with Spain always a popular destination.

Yet, The Sun has explained how wearing an England shirt in certain areas of Spain could bring a fine of up to £500. Previously, restaurants and venues in Majorca banned football shirts due to fears they encourage ‘drunken tourism’, and there are fears about how fans could behave in places like Benidorm.

The popular spot will have specific policing operations in place during the tournament, with England games likely to attract a lot of drinking throughout the day.

The update adds that failure to comply with the rules in certain areas could lead to fines imposed by the authorities.

It’s not just football shirts that aren’t allowed in specific places, with swimwear and going shirtless also not allowed in a bid to promote a more ‘respectful environment’.

Obviously, it’s important to respect the area you visit, and there will be more than enough places for England fans to party and enjoy games without getting fined in Spain.

The pricing at this World Cup will have forced fans to change their travel plans, which is a shame, and hopefully it’s something that is addressed moving forward.

So, Spain is going to be a place where many decide to go, and there will be big celebrations from English fans across the world if they do manage to get their hands on the trophy for the first time since 1966.
