The Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has just been handed a 15-month suspended prison sentence. This comes after he was found guilty in a previous case brought before the Greek courts this afternoon.

Harry Maguire was found guilty on three counts: minor assault, resisting arrest, and attempted bribery for an incident that took place in Mykonos in August 2020, as reported by Sky Sports.

The English defender was involved in an altercation with the police, whom he assaulted, insulted, and attempted to bribe in order to cover up the incident. Two companions were also arrested during this brawl, which made headlines nearly six years ago.
