That's all from us for today and from this summer's tournament. Thanks for following along with us!
Sarina Wiegman has just spoken to BBC Sport after her side's back-to-back success:
"We said we can win by any means and that's what we have shown again today. I am so proud of the team and the staff. It is incredible. I just can't believe it. I have a medal around my neck and we have a trophy. It has been the most chaotic tournament on the pitch - all the challenges we had on the pitch against our opponent. From the first game it was chaos. Losing your first game and becoming European champions is incredible. Football is chaos."
Quotes from shootout hero Chloe Kelly just after the full-time whistle
Player of the Tournament goes to Spain's Aitana Bonmatí.
Sarina Weigman, one of the best in the business on either side of the beautiful game, banking three consecutive Women's EURO titles in service of her nation as well as England.
England have been the picture of resistance all summer in Switzerland, with the Lionesses leading for less than five minutes (including stoppage time) across their combined performances in the knockout stage.
Hannah Hampton brings home Player of the Match honours.
Arsenal Women's youngster Michelle Agyemang has taken Young Player of the Tournament honours. Fully deserved after influential displays off the bench.
It's Chloe Kelly's world, and we're all just living in it. She's come up huge again in service of her country, sealing England's second Women's EURO triumph just as she did the last time.

PENALTIES!!
Perhaps fittingly, the final of the Women's EURO will be decided from 12 yards out.
Hold on to your hats!
England make another forced change, with Stanway coming off this time. She will be a huge miss if this goes to penalties.
CHANCE!
Lopez turns to her left foot in an attempt to dispatch an effort past Hampton after receiving in the box, but the youngster could only blaze her shot over the bar.
Bonmati sends a low-driven cross at the near post, but no Spanish player makes the run to meet a fine bit of service.
Less than ten minutes left before penalties.
The second 15-minute period is set to begin, with further changes for both.
Leila Ouahabi comes on for Spain in place of Olga Carmona, while Lucy Bronze is finally removed for England and replaced by Niamh Charles.
CHANCE!!
Spain fail to pounce on a glorious chance to find a second just before the end of the first 15-minute period when Bonmati got forward to flash a ball across the face of goal only for Paralluelo to miss her flick attempt from inside the six-yard box
Bronze has continued on as England have looked the better side after the end of normal time.
Agyemang has been an attacking focal point, and one has to wonder if she has another moment of magic in her locker.
Trouble for England here as Lucy Bronze is down on the turf after putting the ball out of play.
What a loss this would be for the Lionesses.
Extra-time is now underway in Basel.
Is it another act of defiance that will see England lift Women's EURO honours, or can Spain turn dominance into a first-ever tournament win?
The Lionesses have once again battled to force another 30 minutes of action as they have done previously this summer, despite Spain being just about the better side.
Will we find a winner before the dreaded shootout?
Further changes for both sides here.
England bring on Beth Mead for Ella Toone, while Spain introduce Salma Paralluelo and Vicky López for Athenea del Castillo and leading tournament goalscorer Esther González.
The summer classic in Switzerland has been a resounding success, with a new Women's EURO attendance record cemented.
Michelle Agyemang comes on for England here, with the 19-year-old having been exceptional off the bench all summer. She's replaced Russo.Spain make a change as well:
ON: Clàudia Pina
OFF: Alèxia Putellas
That comes to nothing.
CHANCE!
Kelly nearly turns goalscorer to put England ahead, but Coll gets a fingertip on her low drive to turn it away. England have a corner, and the Lionesses are beginning to really push here.
GOAL!!!
England have found the equaliser thanks to Russo, who headed home at the near post to connect with Kelly's cross into the box.
Game on in Basel!!
Alèxia Putellas has a pop now from range as La Roja, once again, get forward with intent, but the Barcelona star could not get the right bend on her effort as it sails harmlessly wide of the far post.
Caldentey dispatches a drive at goal as Spain continue to push for a second, but the Arsenal winger could only see her shot fly right at Hampton, who got down to comfortably save.
CHANCE!
Aitana Bonmati gets into the box before unleashing a drive at goal, but Hampton hangs on comfortably.
Play restarts in Basel as Spain control possession to begin the second stanza at St. Jakob-Park.
HALF-TIME
Spain take a justified 1-0 lead into the changing rooms at half-time in Basel as La Roja are now 45 minutes away from their first-ever Women's EURO triumph.
England surely will not sit down at St. Jakob-Park, though, and if anyone can battle back, it's Sarina Wiegman's troops.
CHANCE!
Kelly is already getting involved in the final third with a driving run into a decent area just inside the box, but her low drive could only glide wide of Coll at the near post.
Can she provide a much-needed spark here?
Lauren James looks set to come off here as she's down struggling on the playing surface. She's replaced by Chloe Kelly.
The passage of play leading up to and including the goal should come as no surprise for supporters and neutral watchers, with Spain so often finding the back of the net from 12 yards or closer across the tournament.
There's no one better at finding a key chance this summer than the tournament goal leaders, but can England keep them to just a single goal to give them the hope of a comeback result?
Spain continue to apply pressure here as we move past the half-hour mark, with La Roja hunting for a second goal to potentially put the result to bed before the half-time interval.
GOAL!!
Spain have struck first in Basel with a close-range header from Caldentey after she rose highest in the box to meet Ona Batlle's ball in.
The start they were hoping for!
It's Arsenal's Mariona Caldentey now with a chance at the other end when she took aim from outside of the box, but her effort could not bend into the far corner and sails wide of Hampton's post.
CHANCE!!
Coll makes a massive save after turning possession over, with a top-class kick save to keep England out while denying Lauren Hemp at the near post!
The Lionesses own the better of the results between the two sides on historic grounds, boasting a 8-6-5 record against La Roja. They'll be hoping to tap into that as we move closer to the 20-minute mark at St. Jakob-Park.
Bayern's Georgia Stanway has a pop from range, but her tame effort was comfortably collected by Coll.
DENIED!
Hannah Hampton comes up with a big save at the near post to deny Esther González her own chance to bag the opener and an opportunity to add to her tournament-leading four-goal tally. The resulting corner comes to nothing, but the two sides look in the mood today.
Spain have not conceded in the last 300' of action this summer...can England change that storyline?
CHANCE!
England are threatening early in the opening minutes and nearly find the back of the net as Alessia Russo had her low drive destined for the bottom corner saved by Catalina Coll, with Lauren James then being denied an opportunity to tap home a rebound!
Lucy Bronze is already making headlines today as she becomes England's all-time leader for major tournament appearances
It's 1st vs 3rd in the Women's UEFA rankings.
Can England lift the trophy for the second time in a row, or will Spain bank their first-ever Women's EURO honour?
The rematch of the 2023 Women's World Cup final is up and running in Basel!
We are set for player walk-outs and the national anthems, and then we are up and running in Basel for the Women's EURO final!
And the team news is in for both nations! Here is how they'll look on the St. Jakob-Park pitch today.
Despite tasting defeat to begin group play, England have charged their way to the final amid some dramatic moments that defined their summer.
Is there one more left in the tank today?
Spain's traveling support are certainly in the mood as we are less than two hours away from kick-off in Basel
The stage for today's final looks lovely as ever, with St. Jakob-Park primed for what should be a fantastic tactical battle across (at least) 90 minutes of the best the Women's game has on offer
