Arsenal defeated Real Madrid to reach this stage, while PSG have beaten three English clubs on their way to the last four.

The French giants eliminated Liverpool in the last-16 and Aston Villa in the quarter-finals. They also beat Manchester City during the league phase.

Another English side stands between them and a place in the final, with both clubs chasing their first Champions League title.

When asked if previous wins against English sides could help PSG against Arsenal, Enrique said: “I do not know, maybe it is a question for Mr Arteta.”

The Spaniard also discussed the boost in confidence after beating Liverpool.

“In terms of confidence, it is very positive for us,” Enrique added. “We won the match against Liverpool, and Liverpool won the Premier League this year.

“But that does not mean anything because every match is different.”

Arsenal defeated PSG 2-0 in the league phase courtesy of goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka.

They will hope for a similar result as they aim to keep their dream of European glory alive.

This is their only remaining shot at winning a major trophy this season after setbacks in domestic competitions.

However, while Arsenal will fancy their chances of reaching the final, Enrique believes they are beatable.

“Everybody speaks about the Premier League like it is the best league in the world,” he said. “I do not know if I agree or not.

“But we are full of confidence and looking forward to playing the semi-final.”

Arsenal fans will be hoping their team can rise to the occasion and demonstrate the strength of the Premier League.
