Enzo Fernández could consider leaving Chelsea if the club fail to reach the Champions League, L'Équipe reports. The London side are currently outside the top four that bring direct qualification.
Although a key figure under Liam Rosenior, the 24-year-old may weigh up fresh challenges should that scenario unfold. Real Madrid have been tracking his progress, while Paris Saint-Germain are keen at the request of Luis Enrique.
Chelsea's financial picture is another factor. The club have posted significant losses in recent years and expect a busy window, so a substantial bid could prompt a sale.
Any deal would be complicated. The Argentina international is tied to Chelsea until 2032 on a long contract worth around 10 million euros a season, which sets a high bar for suitors.
With the market still some way off, Real Madrid and PSG are monitoring developments. If Chelsea fall short, Fernández's future could become a major storyline next summer.
