Paris Saint-Germain are not expected to be highly active during the January transfer window, despite the club’s middling form. Second to RC Lens in the league, Luis Enrique’s side were knocked out of the Coupe de France earlier this week, too.
However, Luís Campos has announced that the club will be looking to strengthen the squad through the promotion and platforming of academy products. No big signings are expected this month, although that may not be the case come the summer.
As per a report from L’Équipe, Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández (24) is a name that features on PSG’s shortlist. The Argentina international, L’Équipe understands, has been somewhat disturbed by the departure of Enzo Maresca, with whom he had a strong relationship, as manager. With the Italian gone, replaced by former RC Strasbourg Alsace manager Liam Rosenior, Fernández is questioning his future at Chelsea.
In any case, a move will not be made for the midfielder during the current transfer window.
