Pedro joined Chelsea last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60m, and has had a very good first season.

The Brazil international has scored 14 league goals to date, and is trying to become the first Chelsea striker since Diego Costa to score 20 league goals in a season.

Joao Pedro tipped to end up at Arsenal

Pedro has established himself as Chelsea’s first choice striker, and has easily fought off competition from Liam Delap who’s scored just twice this season.

The 24-year-old looked good under Enzo Maresca, but he’s gone to another level since Liam Rosenior’s arrival, and has scored 11 goals in 2026.

Rosenior believes Pedro is currently on the same level as Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, and former Watford team-mate Davis has suggested he could end up at Arsenal.

“Yeah, for sure. You saw his quality in training,” he told talkSPORT.

“Even playing with him, he’s Brazilian, so he’s just got that flair and belief in himself that he knows he’s a very good player.

“He’s a good guy as well. He’s not disrespectful or anything like that; he’s just a top person. So yeah, you could definitely see that you can move on to make big steps.

“To see him at Chelsea now is like… even if he went to Arsenal or something like that, I wouldn’t be surprised.

“He’s very good.”
