Erick header caps comeback as Braga beaten after penalty swing | OneFootball

Bahia beat RB Bragantino 3-2 in the Brasileirão on Saturday to extend their unbeaten run to 10 matches and climb from fifth to fourth.

In the 14th minute, Lucas Barbosa put RB Bragantino ahead, sliding in from Wallace Yan's through ball.

A handball by Juninho Capixaba gave Bahia a penalty, and Luciano converted from the spot (34.). Moments later, Alejo Veliz glanced in Rodrigo Nestor's corner (38.) to turn it around.

On the stroke of half time, Santiago Ramos put through his own net in the first minute of first half stoppage time to level for the hosts.

After the restart, Erick headed in Nestor's cross from a corner (50.) for the winner. Moments later, Barbosa struck the post (55.) as Braga pushed.

Ronaldo was outstanding, making nine saves to thwart Braga, including sharp stops from Henry Mosquera and Rodriguinho during sustained pressure.

Braga registered 24 attempts with 10 on target. Bahia produced 11 efforts, testing the goalkeeper five times.
