Manchester City secured a thrilling 5-4 win at Craven Cottage on Tuesday, but all the headlines belonged to Erling Haaland, who reached 100 Premier League goals - and did it faster than anyone else in history.
The Norwegian hit the landmark in just 111 games, eclipsing Alan Shearer’s 124 and leaving Harry Kane, who took 141 matches, in third place.
Since making his Premier League debut in August 2022, when he scored twice against West Ham, Haaland has been virtually unstoppable, winning the Golden Boot in both 2022/23 (36 goals) and 2023/24 (27 goals).
FFulham are among his favourite victims, having conceded seven goals, behind only Wolverhampton (10), West Ham (9) and Manchester United (8).
The only top-flight side yet to concede to Erling Haaland is Sunderland, who are also the only team he hasn’t faced - a first meeting that will take place next Saturday.
This season, Haaland is once again leading the Premier League with 15 goals and continues to average more than a goal per game across club and country (32 in 23).
He also became the fastest player to 50 Champions League goals back in September, and there seems no end in sight to his record-breaking run.
