Espanyol set to sign Gabriel Moscardo on loan from PSG

Espanyol are set to sign Gabriel Moscardo (20) on loan until the end of the season from Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. The deal between the two clubs does not include a purchase option and will be a dry loan.

The Brazilian youth international spent last season on loan at Braga. He played regularly during his time in Porugal, making 39 appearances for the beaten UEFA Europa League semi-finalists. Moscardo scored 1 goal and registered 1 assist during his time in the Portuguese top flight.

Espanyol to cover Moscardo’s salary

In the deal which has been agreed by PSG and the La Liga outfit, Espanyol will cover the former Corinthians midfielder’s wages for the duration of the loan. Les Parisiens will be hoping to see him develop during his temporary spell in the Spanish first division.
