In football, sometimes imperfection can make all the difference. A perfectly struck ball might miss the target, while a deflection can decide a game and send an entire stadium into frenzy. That’s exactly what happened for Pio Esposito in the 78th minute of Inter vs Lecce: an imperfect finish off Falcone’s rebound, but enough to score the winning goal for the Nerazzurri. The 2005-born forward came on in the 56th minute, fighting for every ball, playing clever flick-ons, and disrupting every pass that came his way. In just 34 minutes, he won 5 of 8 duels and capped it off with his first Serie A goal at San Siro.
