A few months ago, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of the consolidation of a dream come true: the innovative and modern home that Don Jorge Vergara (RIP) built for Chivas. This venue has played a key role in the Rebaño's recent successes, not to mention in the Clásico Tapatío.

We are just a couple of days away from experiencing the match that divides the Perla Tapatía and usually confirms that Chivas is the soul of Guadalajara. Of course, the Rojiblancos will have a real advantage at home, as in addition to the support of 45,000 Rojiblancos on their side, and more than 40 million in various parts of the world, they have the balance in their favor when they host their archrival from the city.

It was in October 2010 when Estadio AKRON first hosted a clash of this caliber, and since then we have seen 21 editions of the Clásico Tapatío. Guadalajara has the upper hand, emerging unscathed in 14 of them: 9 wins and 5 draws.
