Estevao remains unavailable for Chelsea ahead of their FA Cup trip to Wrexham, but Romeo Lavia will play some part.
The Blues travel to take on the Championship side on Saturday with a place in the quarter-finals on the line.
Rotation is expected, with Chelsea then turning their focus to Champions League action and a clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Liam Rosenior confirmed that Estevao and Jamie Gittens are both making progress in their recovery from hamstring injuries, but this match will come too soon.
"Estevao is back on the pitch, but he is not quite ready for this one," Rosenior said.
"He just needs to clear a few more markers first, and we need to be careful with him given he’s had a hamstring injury. It will be a big boost to have him back with the group.
"Jamie Gittens is getting really close [to a return] and he had a really positive scan. We hope that he can be back with the group within the next seven days or so."
The two wingers will not feature but Lavia will be involved in the squad at the Racecourse Ground.
He has made only two appearances in 2026, coming off the bench in the last week against Arsenal and Aston Villa, having been out for four months with a quad injury.
"Romeo Lavia is doing very well and he’s ready to go [from the start]," Rosenior said.
"I’m delighted for him and he will definitely play a part tomorrow. He will play a big part for the rest of the season and his attributes will help us.
"He’s been itching to play but we’ve tried to build him up in the best possible way. But yes, delighted to have Romeo back with us because he’s an outstanding player."
Rosenior also confirmed that Liam Delap is up to full speed again after a hamstring injury and has concerns over being hampered by that.
"Liam is absolutely fine and in his last game he got three assists [vs Hull]," Rosenior said.
"When he gets his opportunity, I expect him to take it, as I do with all the players. He will get his opportunities in big games."
