Pressure is growing on Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Eugen Polanski after six Bundesliga matches without a win, capped by a 3-0 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend.
According to Bild, the 39-year-old does not have to worry about his position for now, and even a loss to SC Freiburg on Sunday would not immediately put him at risk.
Polanski earned the role permanently after an interim stint from September to November. Reported tensions with head of sport Rouven Schröder have added to questions over his future.
Even so, another coaching change this season cannot be completely ruled out, with pressure mounting on Polanski to steady the team.
Gladbach are 13th in the Bundesliga, three points above Werder Bremen in the relegation play-off place.
