Eugen Polanski under increased pressure at Gladbach following poor run of results | OneFootball

After starting the year with a convincing 4-0 victory over Augsburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach have slipped into a four-match winless run in the Bundesliga.

According to Bild, the poor form has raised increasing questions about head coach Eugen Polanski, who was appointed permanently in November following a spell on an interim basis.

In principle, the Borussia management want to give the 39-year-old time in the role. 

However, his position is shaky, as little progress is believed to have been made beyond the points tally. Polanski has struggled to implement a clear tactical approach, and there has been no visible improvement in the players’ body language.

In their next match, Borussia face local rivals Bayer Leverkusen – a tough test, where a positive performance and result could significantly boost Polanski's standing.
