Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are likely to face competition to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka for free in the summer window.
Italian Serie A leaders Inter Milan are looking to sign a new midfielder next summer, and Goretza has emerged as a possible option.
Inter were knocked out of the Champions League last night by Bodo/Glimt, and they are planning to reshuffle their squad.

After Bayern made the decision that they would not extend Goretzka’s contract beyond the end of the season, several clubs showed interest in signing him.
Arsenal attempted to sign Goretzka during the January window, but the midfielder had already given Bayern the word that he would stay for the remainder of the season.
Spurs are also in the race to sign the German international who has scored 48 goals in 295 appearances for Bayern.
Goretzka is emerging as a major option for the Gunners next summer, although Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen are also keen.
Christian Falk has told CFBayern that Leon Goretzka is highly sought after by Inter Milan. The Italians are rethinking their squad after being knocked out of the Champions League.
Tottenham signed Joao Palhinha from Bayern last summer on loan, but they are unlikely to make his signing permanent.
They can make an attempt to sign the 31-year-old midfielder, but Goretzka probably would love to join a club that can offer him Champions League football.
Both Arsenal and Inter Milan can offer him that platform, while a move to Leverkusen could be tempting if they secure an automatic Champions League spot next season.
It has been suggested that Goretzka is open to a move to the Premier League, which could give Arsenal an edge over other potential suitors.
