Before the Europa League last-16 second leg on Thursday, three OL players and four from Celta Vigo would be suspended for a potential quarter-final first leg if they receive another caution and their sides advance. According to Le Progres, all are one booking from a ban.
For the first leg at Estadio Balaidos, OL had two players in this position. That number has risen to three for Thursday's return.
Tyler Morton, Clinton Mata and Nicolas Tagliafico are each on two yellows and face an automatic one-match suspension with another caution. This could rule them out of a potential quarter-final first leg or their first European match next season, if qualification follows.
Ruben Kluivert is in the same situation but has not been called up as he is in individual recovery. Ainsley Maitland-Niles also trained separately with Kluivert and a member of staff on Thursday.
For Celta, striker Borja Iglesias and wing-back Oscar Mingueza are already suspended for Thursday. Four more are now at risk with the next booking, goalkeeper Ionit Radu, defenders Javi Rueda and Marcos Alonso, and midfielder Ilaix Moriba.
