Mateo Retegui, Marcus Thuram and Ciro Immobile are currently in the top 20 of the European Golden Boot standings, involving players with a coefficient superior to 1.
TMW has published the European Golden Boot ranking, featuring only footballers who play in leagues with a coefficient higher than 1.
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski takes the top spot with 24 points, followed by Erling Haaland with 20.

Serie A leading scorer Mateo Retegui sits fifth with 16 points, as many as Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane. The Bundesliga and Serie A coefficient is 2, and Retegui and Kane have scored eight league goals each this season.
Retegui scored a goal in Atalanta’s 2-0 win over Venezia this weekend, while Kane netted three against Stuttgart.
Inter star Marcus Thuram has scored one fewer Serie A goal than Retegui (seven) and sits sixth alongside Albert Gronbaek and Henrik Meister with 14 points.
Ciro Immobile has 12 points thanks to his eight goals in the Turkish Super Lig. The Italian striker moved to Besiktas from Lazio last summer. The Turkish league’s coefficient is 1.5, just below the top European leagues.
The actual leader of the European Golden Boot ranking is Alex Tamm of Kalju FC in the Estonian Premium Liiga with 27 goals and 27 points in 31 matches.
